How It Works

Contaminated air enters the cyclone through an inlet plenum then spirals downward, accelerating as the cone narrows. Centrifugal force pushes large, heavy particles down through the narrow part of the cone into a collection hopper or drum. As particles drop out, clean air spirals upward and is then discharged through the outlet back into the environment.
