How It Works
Fumes and dust are drawn into the SCA system through an inlet baffle, while the SCB brings in contaminants through source capture arms. Dirty air passes through the cartridge media, where particles are removed. Clean air flows through the center of the filter and exits through a rear or side exhaust outlet, back into the workplace.
As contaminants build up in the cartridges, a pulse cleaning cycle takes place. Bursts of compressed air are sent into the interior of the filters, causing particles to fall into a dust drawer. For easy maintenance, simply undo fasteners beneath the unit and empty contents for quick disposal.
