How It Works

The Smog-Hog SG uses electrostatic precipitation (ESP) to effectively collect oil smoke and coolant mist. Dirty air enters the unit through an inlet plenum and moves through an optional pre-filter. The pre-filter traps large contaminants as well as evenly distributes the air stream at a low, controlled velocity. Air passes through a unicell where particulate is charged and drawn to grounding plates. Collected particles are trapped on an after-filter, allowing clean air to pass through the system and exhausted back into the environment.
