How It Works
The Smog-Hog SHN uses electrostatic precipitation (ESP) to effectively collect oil smoke and mist particles. Dirty air enters the unit through an inlet plenum and moves through an optional pre-filter. The pre-filter traps large contaminants as well as evenly distributes air at a low, controlled velocity. Air passes through an ionizing section where particulate is charged, and charged particles are drawn to grounding plates. Collected particles are trapped on an after-filter, allowing clean air to pass through the system and then be exhausted back into the environment.
