Clean Air Solutions for Dust & Mist Processes

Industrial Process Emission Control Systems:
Mist/Fume Collectors

Electrostatic precipitation (ESP) technology is the key to the superior performance of our industrial mist collectors. Unlike bag or box filters that remove only the largest particles, ESP electrically charges even microscopic contaminants, then captures them magnetically in an aluminum collection cell. As a result, this sophisticated electronic solution leaves virtually no grease or hazardous particle untouched, releasing only clean air from the system. United Air Specialists' ESP technology ensures constant airflow, unlike barrier filters that can plug and become ineffective.

Modular ESP Mist Collectors

Our ESP mist/fume collectors prevent hazardous emissions from escaping into the atmosphere. Situated inside or outside a facility, these modular system mist collectors use a combination of filtering processes to precondition and clean even the most polluted airstreams.

Air volumes range from 750 CFM to 35,000 CFM, depending on system size and configuration.

Developed specifically to collect heat-generated organic vapors and particulate, our mist collectors control hazardous emissions which pose a threat to the environment and your business.

Common applications include:

Manufacturing processes - oily weld fume, furnaces, laser etching and cutting, metal sintering, oil mist or smoke, soldering, wax vapors, wire drawing
Asphalts - coatings, hot mix plants and saturators
Industrial cooking - coffee and peanut roasters, hot oil fryers, smokehouses
Plasticizers - blown film, calandaring, curing oven, coatings, extrusion, nylon, plastics, polyethylene, polystyrene, texturizing, vinyl
Textiles - tenter frame ovens, yarn coating and extrusion
Rubber - buffing, curing, grinding, recycling

Smog-Hog PSH Mist Collector

Smog-Hog PSH Mist CollectorThe Smog-Hog PSH offers the highest efficiency levels in emission collection. Each system uses two stage ESP technology, which combines an ionizer and a collection cell. The ionizer charges contaminants and the collection cell section removes them from the air. Submicron particles are removed from the air stream via an electronic field. The result is cleaner air and the elimination of costly compliance problems.

Smog-Hog PSG Mist Collector

Smog-Hog PSG Mist CollectorThe Smog-Hog PSG is ideally suited for industrial exhaust mist and fumes from smoke and greasy odors. The unit's collection cell plates are aligned more closely to improve collection efficiency. And for routine maintenance, the PSG's 40 pound collection cells are easier to handle than competitive cells which often weigh 80 pounds or more. In addition, the PSG unit is fully welded to help ensure facility and worker safety by containing potentially corrosive emissions.
